My name is Jimmy Medel. I am a Native American from Round Valley, CA. These paintings before you were done in San Quentin State Prison in the Arts in Corrections program with William James Association. These paintings are acrylic paint on canvas. The rattle is handmade, also made in Arts in Corrections. I like learning about my culture and sharing my art. I have worked with Prison Renaissance at Stanford and my work has been exhibited in various museums and galleries.
